Improve our Teaching Environment

Continue to create an environment in which teachers and students can excel. Reduce classroom distractions and update disciplinary policies that provide teachers and students a safe learning environment while recognizing adverse issues that our students may be facing.

Eliminate the Opportunity & Equity Gap

Enhance & develop programs that offer all students the opportunity to be College and/or Career ready regardless of their race, gender, or socioeconomic standing. Make Educational Equity a cornerstone of the FCPS school system.

Expand Services to ALL Students

Improve services and curriculum provided to students with special needs. Work to identify and address those needs earlier in the education process.
Develop Public-Private partnerships with local resources that provide valuable after-school programs.
Expand CTE programming and provide entry level CTE courses at the middle and high school level. Expand the current Career & Technical Center in order to accommodate the overwhelming need within FCPS.
Continue to expand the Early College and Dual Enrollment Programs in partnership with Frederick Community College through cost effective tiered tuition models.
